“ We visited Columbia and dropped by BackStreets Grill for lunch. I was excited to try the house made black bean burger. Our server EJ was excellent. The black bean burger was salty, I could not eat more than half. Hubby enjoyed his burger - the gluten-free bun was the best he had eaten, the patty cooked just how he wanted, and baked potato was great. The booth seats are nice with high backs. “ The atmosphere was nice. Sort of cozy casual. It was fine despite the sun shining. The seating was plentiful. Our waitress was very cordial. It took a bit more time that normal to get our drinks and food. The chicken tenders were tasty, according to my husband and did not require sauce. He did order and enjoy the honey sriracha on the side. The Cuban was tasty. The bread was nice and crisp. The pulled pork was juicy. I added dijonaise for a bit of zing. Overall it was a great space for lunch. ”
“ We went for lunch and were lucky to get the last table outside. The atmosphere was great. Even though it was very busy, the service was excellent and Anne Marie was outstanding. We had the chicken ranch wrap and sweet potato fries, both were delicious with generous portions and a fair price. Refills came quickly without having to ask. We will definitely be back. ”
“ There are not enough stars to rate this establishment! We are from New York and my husband is a bit of a “smoker”, a cook of many recipes when it comes to dry rubs and barbecue sauces. He said it was hands-down the best barbecue he ever had. The manager greeted us with a friendly smile and some jokes! Stickers were free and it was overall an amazing experience. Bathroom is very clean! Waiter was very friendly as well. ”
“ This was my first time eating at Backstreets Grill. Our server [Mike P] was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu items, attentive and very orderly from start to finish. Thanks Mike! I love the down town location and I will be eating here again. ”
